So I was going through my little magazine stash of Sabrina’s Secrets I used to collect when I was younger(haha did anyone else collect them too?) at like midnight last night and I found this journal I used to keep when I was about 8, nearly 10 years ago! I used to use it at my old primary school to write what we did every weekend, and then after I left that school I used it to keep a journal of the Christmas holidays of ‘02. Anyway, it’s so funny!
I was so precise at what time I woke up and what I did every morning, ‘I had a shower and I put Nivea Creme all over my body(I don’t know why I felt I had to include ‘all over my body’ lol). I brushed my hair, put my lipgloss on and put my watch and socks on.’ The order I did these in of course alternated each day haha. My night-time routine was also meticulously recorded, ‘I brushed my teeth because I was getting ready for bed. I changed into my pyjama dress and I played with my brother. I brushed my hair till it was soft and untangled and I played sharks with Armand(my brother). I put my lipbalm on and went to sleep.’ I even felt the need to mention what my lipbalm was sometimes ‘I put my lipbalm on which is called Vaseline’ haha. I even recorded everything I ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That Christmas/New Year holiday consisted of watching Prince of Bel Air, Dark Angel, Charmed, Buffy, The Simpsons and typical movies like Chicken Run, Billy Elliot and Independence Day. It also consisted of various phone calls between myself and Chirine and Madeleine(my 2 best friends at the time), hating my dad then liking him and playing with my brother who was 3 years old then(aww!).
